Future Dancers:

Nurturing Potential, Inspiring Journeys

Ignite a lifelong love for dance in your child!

Our Future Dancers program is where young artists aged 4 to 10 begin to discover a world of possibilities within themselves. We are dedicated to laying the essential groundwork for their artistic journey, cultivating not just graceful movers, but disciplined, confident, and expressive individuals ready to embrace the art of dance.

Methodology

First year

Our First Year introduces the magical world of dance through playful and engaging classes for children aged 4-6. Students explore creative movement, storytelling, and imaginative exercises to learn basic spatial awareness, rhythm, and coordination. The focus is on fostering a love for movement in a fun, structured environment, gently introducing good posture and developing essential listening skills and early discipline.

Second year

In the Second Year, for ages 5-7, students begin to explore more formal classical ballet positions (e.g., first, second, third) and fundamental ballet steps both at the barre and in the center. Classes emphasize developing balance, understanding directions, and connecting movements into short sequences. Elements of modern dance are introduced through playful, free-form movements, leading to improved balance, refined posture, stronger coordination, and a deeper understanding of musicality.

Third year

Our Third Year program, designed for ages 6-8, sees the curriculum expand significantly. Classes introduce more complex barre exercises and center work, focusing on proper alignment and precise execution of steps. Students learn intricate combinations, develop their turns and jumps, and begin to explore diverse qualities of movement for both classical ballet and modern dance, building enhanced strength, flexibility, memory for combinations, and artistic expression.

Fourth year

In the Fourth Year, for ages 7-10, classes become more challenging, refining previously learned techniques and introducing advanced steps. Students focus on improving their extensions, turns, and jumps with greater control and artistry. They explore a wider range of modern dance vocabulary, fostering individual interpretation and creative problem-solving through movement. This stage refines technique, increases stamina, deepens musicality, and nurtures early performance skills.

Fifth year

The Fifth Year for ages 9-10 is dedicated to solidifying all fundamental classical ballet and modern dance techniques, preparing students for more advanced levels. Classes feature longer, more intricate combinations at the barre and in the center, emphasizing precision, fluidity, and dynamic range. Students develop their personal artistry, understand subtle nuances of movement, and are encouraged to find their unique dance voice, culminating in strong foundational technique, artistic maturity, and advanced control.
